Review:
Kicking off the EP with a debauched homage to Julie London's iconic crooner, "Cry Me A River", Borgore's thumping beats punctuate the singer's smoky sensual voice before stifling all soul and syrupiness with brutal bass heaviness and grumbling wobbliness. The Israeli producer smothers, batters and violates the original sample with rapped back Eminem-style aggressive lyrics. Continuing the chaos with "My Favourite Things", Borgore goes in on the Sound Of Music soundtrack with the relentlessness of a playground bully, removing everything enchanting and whimsical and replacing it with the most intense bassbin-wobbling ribbits and synth-screeching scratches. The gratuitous dubstep violence continues with the simpering "Nympho" and more bleepy Rusko-esque cuts, "Sunsets" and "Thoughts"?it's not so much ruining dubstep, as brutally butchering it!
