A long time associate of the excellent Electric Wire Hustle, fellow Kiwi Benny Tones goes solo for this sparkling debut on BBE that's a feast of delicate and electric soul. With Fat Freddys Drop's Joe Dukie, MC Shihan The Poet and Mara TK amongst the vocal guests, Benny Tones lays down some expertly textured broken beats - check the Rhodes 'n' bass combo on "On My Way", the low end swagger of the Dilla-esque "Fountain Of Youth" or the THC funk of "Nevermind" and you'll see what we mean. Classic BBE.
