A belated but welcome UK release for this compilation of deep house business from Japanese imprint Soundsofspeed. Originally out in Japan back in February, Circles is compiled by label boss Yamazaki Hiro and ranges from laidback introspective downtempoisms and abstract futurist house moments to full on acid jerk My My's Lee Jones features twice with the bumping jazz cut "Two In One" complemented by vinyl crackles and "Fuchskaffee" in more familiar melodic minimal territory. Long term Soundsofspeed associate Luke Vibert contributes a superlative oscillating 303 workout on "Majacid" which is in marked contrast to the weightless soft percussive shuffle of Kuniyuki & Cushty's "Tremor"
