Review:
There's something wonderfully autumnal about the original tracks included on this debut from New York producers Alberto Henandez and Andrew Siedenburg. Taking elements from deep house, dub techno, dubstep and glistening electronica, they've created post-dubstep mood pieces that bristle with dreamy chords and frosty late night intent. The EP's lead track, "Close", is particularly good. That gets a trio of fine remixes, with Black Acre sort Blue Daisy offering up an exemplary atmospheric, smacked-out dubstep take. Lapalux weighs in with a wonderful remix that defies explanation, while Duffstep completes the package with a shimmering future garage take. Highly recommended.
