New from Mark Brown's Cr2 label, this six-track collection showcases some of the freshest funky tech house out there. Mikalogic's "Cheesemaker" is a subtle Balearic builder while Simone Tavazzi has it a little larger on the tropical "Habanero". Spanish DJ David Herrero does wonders with NDKj's "Chase The Funk" while Paul Strive's "This Tape" is an enormous, deeply moody worker that has uses some ghostly, detuned vocals over a simply epic white noise build-up.
