Review:
A key figure in house music's recent across-the-board revival, especially in the US, Treasure Fingers teams up with the absurdly talented and more bass-slanted Malente for this fresh new double-track EP for Defected. "Au Revue" charges on a short, orchestral disco loop that's given some smart filtering and backing from a 808 clap and stomping peak-time house drums, while "Crusaders" is a blitz of cut up acapellas, high pitched LFO swoops and a crazy funk sample that makes for an electric disco-house gem.
