Review:
New from BBE, ace Australian producer Katalyst returns with a splendid follow up to his 2007 album What's Happening? After a reggae opening, the Outkast psych funk of "Black Dragon" makes for a thrilling change of pace, with Mr Clean's rhymes an early album highlight for us. Elsewhere, a remake of Shirley Ellis' "The Clapping Song" is done in the best possible taste, while the synth arpeggios and icy electro drums of "Prince Of Cool" provide a nice change of direction from the brass and funk drums.
