Review:
Expect some more cerebral sounds from Jay 5ive & Kromestar in this deep, twisted dubstep release on Bass N Love. "Deepest Fears" kicks off with an ominous vocal sample calling out the nature of "our deepest fears" with a chilling echo and slowly the track progresses into the main tune with a shimmy of quirky synth twizzles, chiming beats and quirky SFX. It's an unusual piece, with slow, staggered beats and a deep sense of unease. "Backwoods" is similarly contemplative but a very different beast, with crackling white noise, searing beats and whirring high pitched synths it has a Rustie-esque feel to it, with hyperactive bleepy melodies dominating throughout the piece.
