Review:
D-Operation Drop present some carefully considered and precisely articulated dubstep on the TDM imprint. First in the three track EP is "Blind" which is all sparse, stripped back soundscape, punctuated only by whirring, wobbing sub bass and clicking, super sharp hi-hats. The occasional clinking melody adds another layer to the track, but we're talking minimal here. Next is "Last Time (VIP)" with its mournful melody and subdued beats plus a discordant warp below. Concluding cut, "Hate That Day" builds from a tense intro of ticking hats into the main part into a more brostep style offering with grinding mid range dominating.
