Review:
Arguably one of the lesser-known musicians in the extended Underground Resistance family, Estaban Adame has previously had a hand in releases by Galaxy 2 Galaxy and Los Hermanos. Here, he strikes out on his own with a varied EP dripping in quality. There's a hint of his UR connections on the spacey, driving tech-house jam "Los Acros", while the dreamy, Latino-tinged "Mixed Feelings" and shuffling "Buscando" also fuse the best of classic Detroit techno and deep house. The stand out tune is opener "I'll Never Give Up", a Rhodes-laden old skool deep house jam that sits somewhere between Chez Damier and classic St Germain.
