You know what you're getting from Germany's Satin Jackets. Offering a breezy take on nu-disco heavily influenced by '80s synth funk, glittery pop and classic piano house, their tracks are fun and accessible, but well produced enough to impress the heads. This single for Pole Position is arguably one of their strongest yet, a touchy-feely, near Balearic chunk of synth-laden disco-pop that should boost their profile no end. The original version - featuring a weary but engaging vocal - is arguably the pick, though Satin Jackets own remix, reminiscent of Regret-era New Order, is also excellent. In summary... summery (you're fired - Ed).
