Review:
Last year Juno Download ran a competition to see who could do the best job at remixing Fatboy Slim's classic track "Love Island". The results are in, and each of the three best remixes are presented on this exclusive EP. In third place is Stevo Kovacic and Vuk Soplanda's tech house transformation, leading from the Balearic strings of the original into a hugely satisfying drop, while second place goes to Cyran's brilliant complextro reimagining, daubing the original's already considerable melodies with bright neon strokes. But the winner was Superfort, whose big room electro house version takes the original hook and makes it considerably more muscular. Make no mistake, there is some serious new talent on show here.
