Review:
This week's Nang release comes from little-known label regulars Pharao Black Magic. They're perhaps not a particularly well-known name, despite having provided numerous remixes for Nang in the past. They certainly fit the label's sound like a glove, here offering up a big, haircut-tastic, nu-disco-with-bells chunk of piano-laden bliss that should appeal to Nang's strong fan base. For those with more refined tastes, there's a pleasingly Balearic rub from Coyote that turns the hectic original into an atmospheric, midtempo wiggler. There's also more smile-inducing piano shenanigans in the form of bonus cut "Mambo Marimba", which boasts trance-like build-ups and, strangely, no marimbas!
