Review:
Given the title and presence of vocalist Sian Evans, it doesn't take a genius to work out that this is a cover of Kosheen's biggest hit, 2000's worldwide anthem "Hide U". As covers go, it's pretty tasty. Faithful enough to be recognisable, yet different enough to breathe new life into a 12 year-old classic, it benefits greatly from loose drums and electro-friendly wall-of-sound production from remixer Jerome Robbins. Evans is in fine voice, too, her vocal soaring above the bubbling backdrop. The original is an anthem, and this new version is, too. Expect to hear it a lot this summer.
