Review:
Mikael Nordgren has a long list of releases on respected labels like Ibadan, Nite Grooves and Liebe Detail to his credit, but this outing for Audiomatique could well be his biggest release. "Back to Detroit City" and "How We Feel" are textbook examples of Nordgren's sound, with rolling tech-house rhythm tracks and tight claps underpinning icy chord builds. However, it's "AH-64" that is sure to get the most attention. Over a stomping techno backing, Nordgren unleashes an ominous siren riff that keeps on building and building. It's the biggest moment of his career - expect to hear it everywhere soon.
