Review:
Taking "Huron River Drive " from Shigeto's sophomore album to task, Ghostly International have assembled a cast of likely lads to reform the track in a broad spread of styles. The original is a sublime yet tantaslisingly short loll through skittering, brushed drums and sumptuous Rhodes, and Evenings capitalises on this the closest by keeping to a lazy hip hop groove defined by little more than a soft clap. Sun Hammer tears the original apart altogether and places gamelan tones and static in its place, while Braille teases a bright and bucolic version that capitalises on some swinging live drum sounds and blissfully realised synths.
