Review:
You remember Adamski, right? He's the keyboard wizard who launched the career of Seal with rave anthem "Killer", before vanishing into obscurity via a series of attempted comebacks. Here he is, back again, with a piano-bashing, in-your-face, synth-heavy nu-disco burner that samples a familiar, 80s electro-era vocal. Attar remixes, taking the track further into student haircut disco-rave territory. Sweaty. Arguably better still is the cut-up synth silliness of "Wot Happened To U", a kind of Italo/Hi-NRG/electrofunk/rave hybrid. Blackjoy provides a brilliantly fuzzy, MDMA-tinged remix, while Mirror People contribute a chunky nu-disco version. Worth checking!
