With a reputation that's unimpeachable, Frankie Knuckles is hardly likely to disappoint - especially with long-time collaborator Jamie Principle on vocal duties as well. On "I'll Take You There", the pair dream up a delicate and tender melody that's rendered with piano, long drawn-out strings and deep pads - not to mention Principle's softly cooing vocals. The Shapeshifters keep the moodiness and shimmering beauty intact despite beefing up the beats, while Dimitri From Paris delivers a straight edit of Knuckles' original designed to work wonders on the floor.
