Review:
One to watch with every release, Data brings it to Blackbox with stylish, stripped back utterance "Intrusion". The title track is every inch the brooding, menacing incarnation evoked by the title - think mid-90s Metalheadz vibes, with punchy drums, eerie SFX and enormous sub bass booms. The tension and ominous atmospherics continue for the duration as we are led further and further down the tunnel. The accompanying "Knives From Heaven" is an even more bewildering and intriguing piece with pattering percussion and a unique blend of sounds which will satisfy fans of more experimental electronica.
