Known chiefly for his work as a deep house selector, as well as for his Grooveland imprint, Brazilian all-rounder Edground breaks new ground with this new single featuring Japanese vocalist Airlly in tow. Playing into smooth, slo-mo nu-soul territory, "Iroke" is a delightfully languid and jazzy mix of double bass, soft acoustic guitars and Airlly's magnificently swooping melodies. A smokier boogie version comes courtesy of DeejayKul Hoper, while Tahira's Sambajazz mix nods in the direction of the label's Brazilian roots.
