Intriguingly, the title track does not take inspiration from the excesses of late 70s Rimini but rather the jazzy house of 90s New York as sweet strings push the arrangement into a filtered breakdown. The Big Apple's influence comes to the fore on the Eddie C rework of "Italo Slot", where funk guitar stabs are fused with a walking bassline. However, the Italo influences finally surface on "El Sexto", where airy synths are combined with stacatto drums for the most dance floor moment on the release. Completing the package is Trujillo's remix of the title track, which offers a more laid back, windswept version.
