Review:
This is a quite a curious concoction. Imagine, if you can, a dark, discordant fusion of Berghain-friendly late night techno and freakish surf rock, whipped into a furious flurry of duelling guitars, appregiated synths and bowel bothering beats. That's pretty much what "Jaipur" sounds like, and it's oddly brilliant. "Fiore", meanwhile, offers a skewed but blissful take on experimental hip-hop - think Walls jamming with Hud-Mo and you're close. Speaking of Walls, they offer a typically cosmic remake of "Jaipur" - think Field-ish dancefloor hypnotism fused with their own Balearic approach to melody. Like much of their work, it's stunningly beautiful.
