Review:
The cover image of a satanic jelly baby, blood trickling from his razor-sharp teeth, offers a clue to the bizarre but enjoyable contents of Durty Phresh's title track. While it pulses with the sort of formidable, wobble-heavy bottom end demanded by dubstep DJs, it also raises a giggle via the use of silly fairground organs and other smile-inducing elements. "Swagger On A Million" is more traditional in its outlook, layering pitched-down hip-hop vocal samples over woozy synth riffs and a bassline that's only a few hertz away from "brown note" territory. Both tracks sway with the chest-puffed swagger demanded by men in caps and girls wearing cargo pants.
