Review:
Pehr Herb and Thomas Jaldemark only released their first EP last year, but already they sound like seasoned veterans. While the title track is the most effective on a purely functional level, its metallic rhythms filtering and building to an inevitable but deadly effective denouement, the other tracks recall classic periods in techno's past. "Greger" is a punishing track in the mould of mid-90s Swedish producers like Joel Mull and Cari Lekebusch, its pumping groove offset by eerie textures. "Densolitmos" goes a few steps farther however, and its insistent, chain mail groove rather effortlessly recalls Mills during his Waveform phase.
