Review:
Following their appearance on Sccucci Manucci's recent (and rather good) Friends Of The Family EP, Casino Times offer up their hymn to the most pointless of all club-friendly stimulants: laughing gas. It's perhaps no surprise that the track itself is variously woozy, rush-inducing and momentarily dizzying, building the action around rising and falling riffs and Bashmore-ish synth action. Thankfully, it doesn't wear out in 20 seconds! Elsewhere, Christoph Andersson offers up a dreamy synth-pop take with an all-new (auto-tune heavy) vocal, while Frank Rodas gets impressively wonky on his bonkers version.
