Review:
Florida-based funkster Play Moore is having a rather busy year, "Less Is Moore" being his third release since March. A true breakbeateer with added electro sensitivities, this chunky roller isn't dissimilar to fellow Floridian DJ Icey. Balancing the perfect blend of beef strong enough to knock your dancefloor's socks off, and drops so floaty they'll reach up to the heavens for a new pair, "Don't Look Back" is quintessential dancefloor dynamite. "Funk Box" takes a more 4/4 approach but carries the same amount of weight thanks to a nagging saw-toothed bass hook and frilly disco fills pinned on at all the appropriate places.
