Ignoring the title for a moment (surely it should be "Let Go Of The Past"!?), this dubwise bass music shuffler from Fretless is a lot of fun. The original version is a bit of a curiosity, sitting somewhere between dubstep, breaks and radio-friendly pop with silky-smooth vocals amd ruffneck toasting from MC Shureshock. Will Styles remixes, upping the wobble factor for those who enjoy being slapped round the chops with botty-bothering bass. Virtual flipside "SOS" offers something a little more traditional, mixing sharp horns and other funk elements with P-funk squiggles, thick bass pulses and faithfully snappy breaks. A solid package is rounded off by a jaunty, P-funk flavoured remix from Omegaman. Highly recommended.
