Mikal teams up with he-who-can-do-no-wrong, Bristol-based D&B-ster Break for a couple of screwfaced killers on Goldie's legendary Metalheadz imprint. "Lifts Me Up" juxtaposes uplifting, stabbing rave chords, sweeping synths and euphoric vocals with rolling drums, grinding bass and gritty subs for an adrenaline-inducing journey. "Just A Game" builds from a dramatic, melancholy intro into a dutty little roller with stuttering bass, chopped up vocals and an insistent repetitive edge. This is D&B with buckets of character - get to know!
