Review:
With its "Township Funk" style bleep melody, robust electro-kuduro rhythms and granite-thick bass, "Lwanda" sounds like a dancefloor showdown between DJ Mujava and Buraka Som Sistema. It's perhaps unsurprising, then, that the latter have been giving this EP plenty of support. "Show Me" uses similarly African influenced percussion, but switches the melody for synths that scream "rave". Excitingly, there's also a great free track in the shape of "Animals", which offers naggingly addictive hooks and rhythms in a similar vein to the explosive title track. Booming.
