Here, Venezuelan Maurice Aymard - founder of Spanish deep house stalwarts Galaktica Records - joins forces with exiled Brazilian Gui Boratto for a defiantly organic trip into wide-eyed deep house territory. As with many Galaktika releases, "Home" is pleasingly melodic, delivering delicious keys and intergalactic chords over rubbery electric bass and live-sounding drums. It's the sort of track that sounds just as good at home as it does in a club, which should give it some longevity. Jay Shepheard remixes, thickening the percussion with some additional bongos and cymbals, and adding a fantastic new darting synth bass part. His version is more obviously dancefloor-centric, and no worse for it.
