Review:
Murray Richardson is one of those producers whose discography is quietly impressive and perennially underrated. He rarely misses the mark, offering killer deep house - occasionally with an atmospheric, tech-tinged edge - that comfortably slips into all manner of DJ sets. This latest EP for deep house super sleuths Baker Street offers more decent set-filling fodder. "Memory Loss" itself is a real late night bumper - all hypnotic, early morning riffage, cute vocal samples and nagging synth-bass. "Sometimes Sweet Susan" takes similar influence from old skool house, variously sounding both fiendishly intense and breezily upbeat.
