Review:
Villa Nah gets the remix treatment from fellow Finn Jori Hulkkonen on Tiga's label, and the results are among the finest deep house tracks of recent years. Like diamonds sparkling in a coal heap, both of Hulkkonen's takes on "All The Days" feature sensuous, sexy strings, rich dubby beats and just the faintest hint of an eerie undercurrent to the pristine house grooves. The Kebacid version doesn't stray as far from the script as Hulkkonen's remixes, and retain the duo's androgynous vocals- but there is something infinitely rewarding about hearing skinny white boys intone in faux angst ridden tones that 'it's keeping me up all night' as they are accompanied by squelchy 303 lines and evocative chords.
