There was a time, pre "Horny", that Mousse T was considered something of an underground house hero. In his early days, he almost single-handedly flew the flag for European house, delivering tracks that were every bit as good as the American productions he grew up listening to. This single originally saw the light of day back in 1999, a year before his lamentable Tom Jones collaboration "Sex Bomb". "Ooh Song" is a fine example of woozy, cut-up 90s deep house - all chiming melodies, forthright beats and springy vocal edits - while "More I Get" has a subtle sweetness and casual soulfulness missing from much of his later work.
