Given their regular appearances at Futureboogie events, it's no surprise to find Bristol-based deep house duo Outboxx popping up on El Harvo and Joe 90's imprint. The Fade EP is perhaps not as drop-dead gorgeous as their sublime, self-titled debut LP on Idle Hands, but it's still packed with the sort of warm, undulating, floor-friendly grooves that should get any deep house lover's nether regions tingling. The sublime "Need You" - all gigantic pads, touchy-feely vocal cuts, liquid bass and sturdy beats - is probably the highlight, though the electrofunk-influenced, proto-meets-contemporary goodness of "Rikkis Groove" isn't far behind. Really, though, all four tracks are top notch. In fact, it's one of Futureboogie's strongest releases to date.
