Review:
Partners in crime, Optiv & BTK join forces once more for this exceptional EP on Renegade Hardware. "Over The Edge" gets the EP off to a monumental start, with taught synth lines, crisp drums and a dense, industrial soundscape. Next, it's "End Run" which accelerates into the drop with grizzled beats, searing synth lines and rumbling bass pounding out from below, before the boys remix Kontrol's "Forcefield" with aplomb, adding in a good dose of gnarly Hardware energy. "Insight" brings the EP to a close with gritty b-line, rowdy subs and cooing vocal. Heavy like so!
