Review:
Uruguayan resident George Paar steps up for the latest Gynoid Audio release, delivering the doom laden cavernous dub drones of "Cielo", enveloping its skeletal beats with a terrifying inevitability, and "Vuelo", whose rippling chords of sheet metal are joined by pulsating bass and a hefty kick drum. Patrick Krieger turns in a version of "Cielo" that tightens up the dub and leaves things lean yet powerful with some hefty compressed kicks, and Mattias Fridell creates his take on "Vuelo" that contains strong Detroit undertones in its woody kick and pulsating bass throb.
