As you might expect from a collective who have previous served up releases such as "Promoters Suck Dick", this Canadian crew are uncompromising and certainly not backward in coming forward. The result is a refreshing brew of ghetto attitude, rampant tempos and no frills fun. "Sweatpants" is rough and ready ode to acid house days. Bolstered with a dark, Black Strobe-style synth lead, it's a hair-raising experience through and through. "Doggs" takes this darkness even further with a trippy, hunchback melody and supreme jacking drop while "Push" takes the tempo up a notch or five with a vibrant garage flavour. For a moment or two it sounds like it should be slowed down a little... Then you realise it YOU that needs speeding up. And the Philthkids are here to help!
