Review:
Surely this isn't the Placebo? If it is, then it makes for the most radical artistic volte face in modern music history, moving from glum college rock to good time party minimal. Let's assume it's the work of another act then! Pollera Colora is a stripped back, rolling groove, populated by infectious horn stabs. Bizarrely though, after a series of celebratory break downs, it unexpectedly veers from a relatively straightforward arrangement into an abstract, wonky techno arrangement. It's not as radical as something Surgeon or Regis would contemplate, but it's enough to make the listener question who is behind this alias.
