Review:
Expect accessible, laid back flavours to dominate in the Prevail EP from Pouyah on the Soul Deep imprint. "Delerium" gets things started with a flurry of crisp, ticking breaks, the occasional instrumental embellishment and a lonely horn adding a melancholy edge. "Prevail" has a more purposeful, but just as sad, tone with twinkling SFX, punchy beats and a dreamy air about it. "Soul" goes deeper, with a yearning, distant vocal and murmuring b-line, whilst "Trial 19" is another explorative piece and "Mysterious Day" brings the EP to a close with a stripped back aesthetic and echoing vocal element.
