Review:
Bristol based D+B badman Break steps up for his next release, this time on CIA Deepkut. A producer who can always be relied upon to bring up a tearing riddim, this release is no exception. Kicking off with the gloriously guttural "Rare Earth" this is all subterranean stabs, pounding sun bass, rumbling hi hats and pattering breaks. "Dreader" provides a great accompaniment, with its intro full of echoes and reverberating vocals; it develops into a low-slung roller with epic dynamism. A must buy for hardened D+B fans.
