Review:
Like any cliche, there is an element of truth in the adage that 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. Thankfully, Manhattan has resisted the urge to tinker too much with Future Sound of London's seminal early 90s rave track, "Papua New Guinea". The groove is subtler and pulsing, the overall mood is deeper and the breakdowns are less dramatic than on the original version. This version is part of a release that celebrates legendary UK club Renaissance's 20th birthday, and is backed with "Give You Love", a rolling DJ tool track that samples the looped up vocals used on countless hardcore records.
