Review:
Rowpieces arrives on Focuz to inject a bit of soul into D&B with I Got A Story To Tell. The title track sets out the producer's intentions with its sweet 70s sampling, as dreamy atmospherics and soulful piano dominate the mood, something carried over into the almost Balearic vibes of "You Will Like It", whose sunset dub comes with some furious percussion. "Friend Of The Arts" carries on the theme with some very 80s synths rising up like a Miami sunrise over the frenetic beats and slowly building bass, while "Retrospect" delivers a piece of D&B with a classically jazzy late 90s flavour complete with Rowpieces' own contemporary signature.
