Review:
Previous volumes of Noir Music's ongoing Second Chances & New Romances series have offered something akin to a 60-minute hug - smart, sassy and well-polished deep house with just the right amount of grit and effortless old skool flavour. This third volume continues that trend, wrapping listeners in a silk-lined duvet with only a steaming hot toddy for company. Ben Disho offers a "Your Love" inspired chunk of soupy goodness, Tiger Stripes gets all Balearic, Blond:ish employs a killer breakdown and Larse gently rubs your delicate parts with a gorgeous, synth-laden smooth groove. In a word: silky.
