Second Storey might be Al Tourettes' new bit on the side, but it's business as usual as he lays down four subversive exercises in bass experimentalism. The EP title track - "Margosa Heights" - is the wildest adventure of the bunch. An oceanic web of muffled bubbles and processes, at points it's impenetrable, at others it's overwhelmingly euphoric. "Hebridean Mind Tours" follows a similar suit thanks to its impending sense of dread. "Arp Garbles" is the most dancefloor-focussed of the set; with its rusted two-step and groaning bass, there's more than a touch of Four Tet to this particular flavour.
