Review:
Mikael Pfieffer delivers his latest EP for Elektrax Recordings, with "Slum" providing a hard hitting slice of warehouse techno with rumbling bass undertones. Sutter Cane's reworking opts to bring out the darker side of the mix, while DJ Hi-Shock provides a techier acidic cut full of jagged metallic percussion. Meanwhile, "Duck Dance" provides a more slow burning original from Pfieffer which moves from all encompassing low end to a jet engine thrust - it's this thrust that Michael Schwarz's mix opts for, building up a revving synth through to the end.
