A talented DJ, producer and connoisseur of all forms of music from the past - boasting a 30,000+ record collection - Snowboy's expertise led to him being asked to curate the music for the retro-celebrating Vintage festival, which in turn has led to this new compilation. Based on the idea of showcasing "vintage sounds made by current artists", there's a huge amount of rockabilly, blues, funk and soul on offer from the likes of Imelda May, Eli "Paperboy" Reed, Si Cranstoun and Big Boy Bloater. Among the 21 analogue delights on offer, look out for Kitty, Daisy and Lewis' "Don't Make A Fool Out of Me" in particular, as these young siblings nail the sound of primitive rock 'n' roll perfectly.
