Review:
Deam steps in on Concrete Cut with a tidy six-tracker that should get heads a-nodding and hips shaking. Blending a Nightslugs meets Hud Mo style sound in "Joint", Deam is all about the fluro synthlines and snaking rhyhms and first. "Mayhem" continues this narrative path on a more melancholic tone, whilst "Saw I" blends low bass with distorted vocal snippet and squelchy SFX and "Pinch" ups the high end a bit with squeaky synths and pattering breaks. Penultimate track "Riot" shakes things up with a syncopated drum patter and mashed up vocal before the dreamy distortions of "Square Love" finish things off.
