Review:
ICR presents a thoughtful and intelligent 11-track album on Fokuz with a poetic title worthy of Unquote and Mr Sizef. Such Unimportant Things Like Us is not just a metaphysical exploration into being, but an atmospheric entree which leads us into such gems as "Still Unloved" with its icy tones and air of contempt; "Love Hate And Between" with its punchy breaks and the moody stasis of "Surrender To Your Weakness". Bop-inspired cut "Dying Breed", a collab with Salmz, is worth checking too and the album is brought to a close by the defiant "My Only Bad Is The Lack Of All Your Good".
