Review:
It's been over a year since Ossie's last solo record, and he returns here in fine form on 2020 Vision. The first two tracks see him bring his group Black Orange Juice for two vocal cuts, "Supercali" which riffs on Mary Poppins (it's actually quite good, trust us) wrapping up UKF and African pop into one tidy package, and "Lovecrazy", which combines Andres style string sampling with a deep percussive workout. Up next, "Housedabass" combines layers of neon stabs over deep pads, taking the standard club template and riffing over it with joyful abandon. Not much has changed in a year, but that's just how we like it - highly recommended.
