Review:
A very interesting release from Dublin party crew Scribble. We should really start with the title track, but the Irvine Welsh-featured "Another Screen" will attract the most attention. And rightly so; it's a real soul stirrer. What begins with blissful, almost folk flavour guitars gradually grows into a carnival crescendo, ably assisted by Welsh's astute observations on modern technology. Naturally "Superhero" is equally impressive, thanks to its anthemic wonk and skank, heavy use of horns and truly spine-melting drop.
